The History of Abbotsford Schools

The Abbotsford District Retired Teachers Association (ADRTA) has launched a heritage project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the association. Over the course of two years, they meticulously planned, researched, and documented the history of each school in the Abbotsford district.

The histories of each school have been published on their respective school websites.

Here, you will find information about all the schools in the district, along with activities for educators to engage students in exploring the history of our schools.

This curated information is intended for staff, students, families, and the Abbotsford community.

Hard copies of this information have been provided to each school and are available in a blue binder located in your Learning Commons.
