École Clearbrook Elementary Celebrates Carnaval de Québec Week
École Clearbrook Elementary recently brought a taste of winter tradition to the school community during its annual Carnaval de Québec celebration.
Throughout the week, students took part in festive activities that celebrated French culture and community spirit. Highlights included a PAC-hosted pancake breakfast, where families and staff gathered to enjoy a warm start to the day, as well as a special visit from Bonhomme, a beloved symbol of Carnaval.
Students also embraced the winter season with marshmallow roasting and s’more making, creating memorable moments with classmates and staff.
Events like Carnaval de Québec bring learning to life, strengthen school spirit, and foster meaningful connections across programs, celebrating the richness of French Immersion within the broader school community. Clearbrook’s celebration is one of many examples of how French Immersion and Core French programs across the Abbotsford School District bring language and culture to life throughout the year.
